The park in the back of Ismaning Castle was redesigned in the English landscape style by Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell from 1807 onwards. Various buildings run through the park, including the light house installed in 2021, the Castle Museum, the Kallmann Museum (under restoration in 2022/23), and the gallery. The hornbeam hedge garden in front of the Kallmann Museum is small but beautiful. The park also enjoys open-air events, such as the three-day cultural festival that has been held for years.
The complex with the castle, park and outbuildings is a listed building as an ensemble.

The Kallmann Museum is located in the orangery in Ismaning Castle. Opened in 1992, contemporary and modern art can be found here. The museum was named after the painter and draftsman Hans Jürgen Kallmann. The sponsor is the Prof. Hans Jürgen Kallmann Foundation in Ismaning. Every year the foundation awards the Kallmann Prize for the subjects of portraits, animals and landscapes.
