Mountain biking
The French Cross or Creu del Francés -in Valencian- was erected in memory of one of the heroes of the War of Independence, Antonio Cherta. At this point a path begins that leads to an elevated area where the castle of Alcala de Xivert is located.
The Cross of the French bears the following inscription: "In this place, Antonio Cherta was killed by the French on August 17, 1810. Rest in peace."
