Tips
At the top of the Irta Mountains lies this ancient Muslim castle, which comes from the population of Santa Magdalena de Pulpis. Construction of a montane type, an irregular structure and a unique site, which was conquered in 1233 by the troops of Jaume I after the capitulation of Peñíscola.

If you just want to visit the Castillo drive to the cemetery of Santa Magdalena de Polpis and park your car. From here you can walk through a tunnel under the AP7 then 100 meters to the left and follow a nice trail which starts on the right for 1.3 km to the Castillo.
