The Serra d'Irta Alcossebre Natural Park is a nature reserve on the coast of Castellón, in the Region of Valencia, Spain. The park covers an area of approximately 7,000 hectares and includes a variety of ecosystems including coastal forests, rocky coasts, beaches, bays and cliffs.
There is a rich animal and plant world in the nature park. Many rare and protected species live here, including the white-tailed eagle, peregrine falcon, Mediterranean monk seal and wall lizard. The flora is also very diverse and includes Mediterranean plants such as cistus, thyme, rosemary and lavender.
It is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. There are many hiking trails that run through the park and offer stunning views of the sea and surrounding countryside. The beaches and bays in the park are also very popular and offer crystal clear water and rich marine life, ideal for snorkeling and diving.
Serra d'Irta Alcossebre is an important part of the natural heritage of Spain and a good example of the protection and conservation of the natural environment.
