Els Tres Estanys is a lake complex made up of three lakes and two seasonal ponds, located at an altitude of 2,415 meters, within the Alt Pirineu Natural Park.

The Tres Estanys themselves are the Estany Sord which is the northernmost, the Estany del Mig and another further south. They are surrounded by the Pic de Ventolau, the Pic de la Coma del Forn, the Pic dels Tres Estanys and the Pic de la Gola, and the Coll de Calberante, the Coll de Ventolau and the Collada de Tres Estanys. Estany Sord flows into Estany de la Gola, through the Calberante pass, while the rest flows into Estany de Ventolau.

A corner that can still be enjoyed in complete tranquility, which is not very popular at the moment.
