The Bleichsee is an artificially created lake on a plateau near Löwenstein in the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park, which takes its name from the cloth bleaching that used to take place there.

There is a circular path along the lake that invites you to take a quiet walk, as do the benches.

In early summer even water lilies bloom in Bleichsee, while in autumn the colorful autumn leaves are reflected on the surface, creating an Indian summer moment. If it is cold enough in winter, the Bleichsee even freezes over. (Source: Heilbronner Land)

Cycling
