Lübeck's most beautiful square on the Trave with a view of the beautiful old town and the Obertrave.
Not far from the lively old town, the Malerwinkel near the pedestrian bridge is one of Lübeck's many small oases. A perfect place to slow down, have a picnic and get a different view of the old town island and its panorama. On the Old Town side, the colorful gabled houses of the Obertrave enchant with their very own flair.
