The Orange Blossom Route is a circular trail of approximately five kilometres that runs between Melegís and Restábal and can be completed in just over an hour and a half. As well as on foot, it is also accessible by bicycle and on horseback.

The route begins at the Mirador de las Alvirillas (Melegís) and before entering the countryside it passes by the most emblematic places in the town, such as the Lavadero or the Church, declared a Site of Cultural Interest.

After passing by the El Pilar fountain and its viewpoint, it leaves Melegís and descends towards the Torrente River, where it coincides for a few hundred metres with the GR 7. It advances between orchards and orange groves until it reaches the Dúrcal River, enjoying the views over the Murchas Castle. From here it continues along a dirt track following the course of the river, between sugarcane fields and cultivated fields, until it crosses the Albuñuelas River just where it joins the Dúrcal and forms the Ízbor River. At this point, it reaches the town of Restábal and the GR-3204 road, where it meets the GR 7 again for just a few metres. It leaves it to descend to the Ízbor River, passing under the road bridge and following its course towards the end of the Béznar reservoir, which it borders on its left. After crossing the Torrente River again, just before its mouth in the reservoir, a steep climb begins that will take you back to the GR-3204 road and the Alvirillas viewpoint, the starting point of this pleasant trail.
