The Penón de los Moros is actually the Castillo de Dúrcal, an ancient castle, most probably prior to the Nasrid period (XIV century). What is left of it is the "rock" and the "aljibe", a water cistern.

The hiking route begins at the very source of San Blas in the same town of Durcal, you have to follow an asphalt road towards the Durcal-baños de urquizar river, once you reach the height of the highway bridge, you must take it before starting to go down towards the river we will take a right and we will begin to climb towards a dolmen called the rock of the Moors
