The cathedral is visible from many corners and reaches far above the city. From the square you can see the cathedral in its entirety and you can take beautiful pictures. In 1380 construction started in Gothic style. Characteristic are the pointed arches, high windows, the crossbows and the air arches on the outside of the building. In total, the cathedral has about 600 statues, often with a symbolic meaning. On the outside you can see animals, monsters and people. There are also many terraces around the cathedral, and a cup of coffee with a Bossche Bol is certainly recommended!
