In thousands of years of digging, the Wörschachbach rushed and wildly dug its way through the rock. It is hard to believe that over 130 years ago traders drove horse-drawn carts here and lumberjacks laboriously transported the wood to the valley with the power of water.

The construction of the Klammsteig was a true pioneering achievement. Today, secured footbridges lead past bizarre rock formations and magnificent waterfalls through the wild and romantic natural monument.
