Steep ascent to Kapfenburg Castle (up to 20%)

Kapfenburg Castle lies above Lauchheim and dominates the mountain and the surrounding area by its mighty dimensions.
Today there is a music academy in it and there are various international concerts.
Definitely worth a visit to recover from the climb here. No matter which side, it always goes up the mountain, but from the direction of Lauchheim the bike path up it is extremely steep
However, of course, you can also drive up the road, which should then be about 10-11% slope and is thus driving to do, quite apart from the fact that the road is paved really well and no bumpy road like the bike path. 😎
It should also be only marginally longer distance, definitely a really good alternative up the mountain.
