The church and tower are at the top of the old town. The church can usually be visited on Sundays (high altar is well worth seeing). The choir of today's church was consecrated in 1383.
You cannot climb the 31 m high (upper) tower. Like the lower tower (Waldhorn tower) it dates from the Hohenstaufen era around 1220. The tower was named Schochenturm from a former tower keeper named Schoch.
