The top of Peñanegra is located at 1,393 meters above sea level and offers wonderful views of the entire Navaconcejo region to the north and behind it the Piornal region, where you can appreciate the beautiful landscape of Extremadura. The ascent can be difficult because it is a long journey, go prepared with plenty of water and sun protection if you do it on hot or summer days.
