The path from the Unterstadt of Eupen to the dam runs entirely along the Weser (Vesder). In the beginning you walk along the river itself and past some houses and industrial buildings that are located on the river. After that you will see the river as you ascend, the path then deviates a bit from it. Then you come back down to the Weser itself. This happens again but in nature. You hear the river flowing when you are higher up and descend again to the stream where you can reach it again. Then the path goes up again and you walk in the height next to the Weser valley to the dam.
