  • The approximately two-kilometer-long Klamschlucht extends from the castle Clam to the village Au west of Saxen at the beginning of the plain of Machland. The bizarre rock formations with their crevices and caves bear names like "Dragon Hole", "Raven Stone" and "Stone Door". The natural monument Leonstein was so popularly named because the rock formation is reminiscent of Pope Leo II because of the distinctive nose that appears in the stone.
