The Friedwald above the Klam Gorge is a special cemetery in the forest - instead of gravestones and grave decorations, trees are marked here, where the ashes in a compostable urn become part of nature again over time.
A very nice place for remembrance and remembrance - for visitors there are also some beautiful vantage points in the Machland and of course to Klam Castle.
2 paths lead to the gorge, the southern one to the wooden bridges, the northern one to a "rope bridge": rope to hold on - balancing over the stones in the creek is popular 😊
