A relic of the past, this old station was opened in 1865 and its name altered to include the 'Wonersh' a little over 20 years later, as Wonersh was nearby.

The station closed in 1965 and lay dormant for two decades before the track was turned into a bridle path. Today, the Downs Link and Wey-South Path use it and it's undergone significant renovation.
