The church dates from the 16th century, except for the bell tower which dates from the 13th century. The interior furniture and ornamentation are from the Renaissance period. The church has remarkable sculpted sandstone pillars as well as an organ from 1628 which is still in operation. In its choir, the vault revealed during its restoration in recent years the presence of a remarkable fresco previously unknown.
