The beautiful single trail next to Apfelstädt is actually much longer than shown here. He starts shortly after the military training ground Ohrdruf and goes as S0 and S1 via Wechmar & Wandersleben to Apfelstädt and on to Neudietendorf. Absolutely recommendable!
