An extinct volcano on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Arthur's Seat is the main peak in Holyrood Park. Standing at 832 feet (251 m), the hill is popular with hikers, cyclists and rock climbers.

According to legend, Arthur's Seat is said to be one of the possible locations of Camelot, the castle and court of King Arthur.
