A ranger station with a box full of utensils that a hiker might need can be found here, along with a few benches for resting. The cottonwood trees provide shade in the hot interior of the canyon. You can also fill up your water supply and use the restroom here.

Located right on the North Kaibab Trail. There is a ranger station, toilets and fresh water.
In an emergency, a rescue helicopter can also land here if you need to be flown out. But I don't wish anyone to be in this situation.
