Please check local regulations for: Grand Canyon National Park
The North Rim of the majestic Grand Canyon is considerably higher in elevation (8,000 feet) than the South Rim (7,000 feet). Since the vegetation is much more dense, you might not get the same stunning views into the gorge, but the North Rim is a lot less crowded and offers amazing trails. Due to the high elevation you can expect snow until late May, sometimes even in June.
A parking lot is close by the view point and it is a very easy stroll to get here.

Go as early as possible to avoid people but most of all to see the sunrise over the Grand Canyon.
