Hiking

The parish village of Zell lies in a valley of the Schweinfurt Rhön (Hesselbach Uplands), one and a half kilometers west of Üchtelhausen and five kilometers north-northeast of Schweinfurt. The district road SW 30, which runs through the village, leads south through the Zeller Grund valley to Schweinfurt and north to Weipoltshausen. State road 2280 runs north-south 500 meters east of the edge of Zell. The Zellergrundbach stream flows through the village. Small new housing developments in desirable locations are situated on the sometimes steep slopes surrounding the old village center.
