Derwent Edge is a Millstone Grit escarpment that overlooks the Derwent and Ladybower reservoirs. The edge affords breathtaking views over the reservoirs and surrounding moorland. There are also lots of unusual rock formations to admire, including the Wheelstones and Back Tor.
From Derwent Edge you have very nice views of the Derwent valley. These are definitely worth it.

Derwent Edge is a Millstone Grit escarpment that lies above the Upper Derwent Valley which overlooks Derwent and Ladybower reservoirs. The highest point on the edge is Back Tor at 538m, however there are a number of notable and unusual gritstone tors, including Cakes of Bread, the Coaches and Horses (also known as the Wheel Stones) and the Salt Cellar.
