Fisherman's Walk
A secluded wooded walk to the sea.
Fisherman's Walk is an award winning green space for residence and visitor, It is a historic green space near to both the coast and the busy shopping of Southbourne. In 2010 Fisherman's Walk won its first Green Flag, awarded to well-managed parks and green spaces .
The Friends of Fisherman's Walk (FFW) are a volunteer group of local residents committed to raising awareness and use of the walk and regenerating it for the benefit of the community.
The Fishermans Walk, Southbourne Cliff Lift was opened in 1935 and is still operational offering a direct route from the cliff top to the beach.
Various events take place in Fisherman's Walk throughout the year.
