The tower of the Castle of Montroy (12th century) is an Almohad construction of a military nature that served as a nerve center for the concentration of human settlements in the form of farmhouses.
Its origin is Muslim and it has a square floor plan, formed by four thick load-bearing perimeter walls built with the Arab technique of stone rammed earth, known as “encased masonry”.
The views from there are amazing!
