The Burguillo reservoir is the first reservoir of the Alberche river, it was inaugurated in 1913 and it is the oldest dam in Spain. The route follows the GR-10 long-distance trail along the shore of the artificial lake, one section is a fantastic single track without major technical complications but has several rocky steps.
