Sant Antoni de Pàdua is a hermitage in the municipality of Sant Joan de les Abadesses (Ripollès) declared a cultural asset of national interest. It is located at the top of Puig de Sant Antoni, south-east of the town center and at an altitude of 1,014 m.
After many destructions and reconstructions, Sant Antoni is a spacious hermitage with a choir and a large space behind the high altar, corresponding to the old chapel of the saint. The exterior walls, without plastering, have well-worked ashlars at the corners and on the west façade there are three large buttresses. The door is oriented to the north framed by thick, well-squared ashlars, and a lintel dated 1758. Above it opens a niche with the image of a small Saint Anthony called the Tossut. Inside the hermitage there is the main altar with the neoclassical altarpiece, two side altars, the bars that separate the presbytery from the faithful, the high chair with stairs to go up and behind it are the stairs that lead to the heart, three steps of which are made on slabs bearing inscriptions and drawings. In addition to Saint Anthony of Padua, an image of the Virgin of the Miracle is also venerated, an invocation that has a very old devotion. The interior walls are high, plastered, white, except for the edges of the altarpieces which are painted red. The light enters through very high square windows that are on a plaster cornice. The only ornamentation is the cornice and plaster moldings from which arches emerge.
