The Forggensee has water again, it is almost completely dammed up. As far as biking in the lake is concerned, you can cycle from the Cafe Maria on the old B16 every year in the direction of Füssen. The lake is since its first full-scale in 1954 in winter to max. Dammed 16 meters, so there is no more water in the shallow Füssener area.
