Based on the photos, I find the position recommended. According to Komoot, one of my tours went along here - unfortunately I didn't notice this point. Next time for sure.

It is a little towards Lahn and possibly behind the green of the trees.

Yes, the location is great, only with the view, with the trees, it is not so good at the moment (July 2020).
