The Royal Monastery of Santa María de Guadalupe is a 14th-century monastery located in the Spanish town of Guadalupe, in the province of Cáceres. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. Inside, you can appreciate Gothic, Mudéjar, Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical architectural styles.

There was originally a hermitage on the site until in the 14th century, when Alfonso XI began construction work on a monastery that would run the order of San Jerónimo. For centuries it has been an inn and pilgrimage center, a cultural center with a medical school and apothecary and has housed goldsmith and embroidery workshops. In addition, he played a fundamental role in the evangelization of America thanks to his links with the Catholic kings.

It is currently run by the Franciscan order and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.
