Interesting way to teach & learn about history... Sammardenchia was badly affected by the severe earthquake in Friuli in 1976. The residents are trying to save everything that makes up the history of their homeland from being forgotten through numerous initiatives. The "Path of Memory" includes more than a hundred painted and glazed terracotta bas-reliefs with key scenes from village life and customs.
