This section on the Saar is great. You cycle directly on the shore through the deeply cut valley. On both sides of the river rise steep rocks and wooded slopes. The unpaved bike path is easy to ride and ensures a certain adventure and nature - just great.

The partly "unpaved" path on the left side of the Saar is definitely recommended. Driving on the B51 from Serrig in the direction of Mettlach or vice versa is no fun because the car traffic is a nuisance.
