Kirriereoch is a peak in Galloway and is part of a range named 'The Range of the Awful Hand' because apparently the hills there look like the fingers of a hand. We approached the summit from the north which was a steep climb over grassy/rocky terrain. It wasn't a scramble as it didn't involve putting hands on the rock but it was a very steep hike up in comparison to the other hills on this range. We stuck to the crest and found that to be the easiest approach. The summit plateau is rather flat.
