Monument in honor of Dr. Christian Adolf Pescheck (February 1, 1787 - November 3, 1859) on Mount Oybin. The theologian, historian, teacher and author of numerous writings came from a family of exiles and, as a (local) researcher, was primarily concerned with the history of Upper Lusatia, especially Oybin. Founder of the Zittau Museum of Antiquities in 1854. Honorary citizen of the city of Zittau.
