At the end of the 19th century, the Belgian State decided to allow the creation of local railway lines granted to private individuals. These lines had to meet certain criteria, in particular radius of curvature, slope, metric gauge,... Here, the vicinal connected the station of Braine-le-Comte of the "big railway" to the vicinal station of Planois via the Coulette stops, Coraimont, Houssière, Marouset, Mon Plaisir, Rond Bonnet. Dismantled during the 1914-1918 war, it was rebuilt in 1922, and finally dismantled by the Nazi occupiers in 1942. It will never be restored.
From Planois, you could reach the Rebecq railway station, in particular via the Hénuères railway station, as well as Bois Seigneur Isaac (connections to Nivelles-Nord or Braine l'Alleud).
