"The Peterskirche and its cemetery were the religious center of the city for a long time. The church was demolished in 1819. All that remained was the bell. The bell still exudes a nostalgic flair today when it rings every 15 minutes. It is located on the roof of the old town hall [= tourist office], in the middle of the pedestrian zone.
