Tillyschanze Forest Inn

The Tillyschanze forest restaurant, located next to the building of the same name, offers a cozy place to stop while hiking.
We really enjoyed the pea stew 👍.

Very curious: The café is clearly in Hesse. If you click on the highlight on Komoot, the Reinhardswald estate district is correctly displayed as a municipality. In my Komoot section "contribute", however, it is listed in Lower Saxony. That's what happens when you build too close to the limit ;)

The Weserberglandweg is a long-distance hiking trail of around 225 kilometers that follows the course of the Weser as the confluence of the Werra and Fulda in Hann. Münden to the Weser breakthrough Porta Westfalica in the area of the city of Porta Westfalica in 13 suggested day stages through the Weserbergland.
Since autumn 2012, the trail sign has been a blue XW on a light green background.
This new signage has replaced the old black and white XW signs and was implemented as part of the certification as a quality trail. (Source: Wikipedia)
