Road cycling
The cherry blossom parc (Bloesempark) in the Amsterdamse Bos had 400 Japanese cherry trees (‘Sakura’). Each of them has a name. In the early spring days (late March/early April) their blossom creates a stunning scenery and symbolises a new beginning, as well as the transience of life. Treat the place with respect. Avoid cycling in the inner circle and enjoy the special atmosphere.

Cycling
The cherry blossoms only bloom for a certain period in the Spring. In Japan there is a festival for this that now also takes place in the Amsterdamse Bos when the blossoms are blooming. It is very busy and (fast) cycling is therefore not responsible on the nearby cycle paths. Let t. a.t. on pedestrians.
