Amper River in Emmeringer Hölzl

Great shady path with many swimming spots, perfect for a hot summer day! Good are bathing shoes or flip flops, if you want to get into the water, there are many sharp stones.

Very good in the summer.
But the mosquitoes are a bit annoying here and there.

The Emmeringer Hölzl is a remarkable piece of nature: the Amper is divided into several arms and has created an area that looks like a park that is particularly close to nature. Paths lead through it, small bridges span the amperes and create charming pictures.
This nature is therefore also an important local recreation area that should be treated with respect. The municipality of Emmering recently pointed out that cycling is prohibited and that dogs must be kept on a leash. Violations of the rules are to be punished more severely in future.
