The Danube riverbank near Kravany nad Dunajom (Karva in Hungarian) is considered one of the most idyllic and natural sections of the Danube in southwestern Slovakia. The beach is known for its clear water and the many mussels on the shore, which are often seen as a sign of good water quality. In contrast to the gravelly or paved banks in larger cities, here you will often find fine sandy or gravelly sections that are ideal for swimming and sunbathing in the summer.
