The parking lot in front of the Lillas River is an ideal starting point for exploring the Sierra Norte de Guadalajara Natural Park. Several signposted routes start from here, such as the Senda de Carretas and the Senda del Robledal.

The trail is the combination of the two signposted hiking routes in the natural park, the Senda de Carreteras and the Senda del Robledal. The best starting point to start tours in the protected area is the Lillas river car park, one of the few places allowed to park vehicles. The trail leaves the car park through the meadows of the Lillas River, following the white milestones of the Senda de Carretas. In the basin there is a track that runs through the center of the valley, crossing the channel several times. The path follows the bank of the stream along the edge of the pine forest to the wooden bridge of the Carretas stream and begins the climb up the slope of the ravine.
