The original track for stage 37 of the European Divide Trail is impossible to do at this point. This gate is locked and the new land owner don’t like cyclists. We propose a traffic-free alternative to cycle between Castro Verde and Ourique. It’s a quiet off-tarmac, perfect for gravel bikepacking users and long distance travelers.
