In 1627, the imperial marauders attacked the miller's daughter and the miller's servants and brutally murdered them. The miller was tied to the milling tree and had to watch the massacre. Then the mill was set on fire. Since then, this area and the ruined building have been called the MURDER MILL.
Such atrocities must not be forgotten even after all these years.....I very much hope that these perpetrators did not escape their just punishment back then!
