Through the trees you can catch a glimpse of the Prüm on this section of the trail.
Unfortunately, the "Prümtalweg" does not lead to the river... 🧐

"The Prüm is a river in the Eifel with a length of 85 kilometers. It has its source in the Arenberg forest, flows through the Bitburg reservoir and flows into the Sauer near Minden. There are rapids between the resort town of Prümzurlay and Irrel. The Prüm has developed in this section of the river dug deep as a notched valley. In the course of this process, the slope became unstable, so that sandstone, marl and clay together with the rock rock initially dammed the Prüm about 10,000 to 20,000 years ago. After the clay was transported away by the flowing water, the boulders remained and led to narrow terrain steps of the river."
