Welcome to the Geoweg Rüfikopf: An exciting journey through time over millions of years. The unique circular hiking trail on the heights of the Rüfikopf allows us to follow the formation of this imposing mountain and admire numerous geological treasures. At each point of interest, you will find a marker with the Geoweg logo - a nautilid - as well as a number or a capital letter, to find out informative details about the "Stone Witnesses" in the accompanying brochure.

The Geoweg am Rüfikopf has been designed as an exciting circular hiking trail and starts at the mountain station of the Rüfikopf cable car. Shortly after the sun terrace of the Rüfikopf Panorama Restaurant, a large information board about the "Ocean at Rüfikopf" awaits you. This is where the geological circular hiking trail begins - follow the Geoweg signs with the nautilus symbol. The geological circular trail leads over 23 stations in just under 2.5 hours across the stony high plateau at Rüfikopf.
