Hiking
A small path leads up along the Rednitz to Penzendorf. A small ditch is crossed with a few simple boards, or in the ditch you can cross a small bridge to the other side of the Rednitz. In summer the path is flanked by tall grass.

But everything is there again, although the bridge is locked with doors and gates because it's unsafe. It's only used to divert water into the Rednitz River. Meanwhile, a gate has been placed over the ditch to allow crossing.

Unfortunately the jetty is no longer there, so I had to turn back today (2.6.25), otherwise really recommendable
