Picnic Lookout is a partially fenced platform perched on a rock along Merritts Nature Track, with a picnic table and bench seat perfectly set up to take in the view. From here, the view stretches down across Friday Flats all the way to the range on the far side of the Thredbo River. There’s limited shade at this spot, so it’s a better stop for a scenic break than shelter from the sun.
