In this spring forest, the Vlaszakbos, the footpath bordered with pollard willows indicates a difference in owners and vegetation. The large plot in leasehold of Durme vzw has the full-fledged vegetation structure of a spring forest: it was debrambled, edge poplars were cut down. In the small plot we find scattered willow and Canada poplar, no black alder. We find a more limited number of spring bloomers such as celandine, marsh marigold and slender primrose.
